Please join us for our new student workshops and orientation.

New Student Orientation – Saturday, January 2nd, 9-11:30am, University Hall Room 306
Online version available beginning Saturday, January 2nd
New students are invited to attend the on-campus new student orientation session or to participate in the online version. Subjects covered include key policies and procedures, academic issues, the Career Center, Penrose Library, parking permits, ID cards, and more. New Students may complete the online new student orientation, including information covered in the on-campus technology workshop, at their own pace on eCollege.

Technology Overview Workshop - Saturday, January 2nd, 11:45am-12:30pm, University College Lab (2211 S. Josephine St.)
Current students are invited to attend a free technologies workshop at the University College lab (Josephine Street). Become familiar with the web-based tools you will use to be successful at University College including, webCentral, MyWeb, and eCollege.

Free Graduate Writing Workshop - Wednesday, December 16th 6-9pm, University Hall Room 306
Online version Tuesday, December 15th through Saturday, December 19th.
University College Master’s degree candidates are invited to attend a free writing workshop held on-campus or a structured online version. Material covered will include:

1) Overcoming apprehensions about graduate writing
2) Grammar and mechanics
3) Introduction to Chicago Manual of Style
