GIS 4660 - GIS in Municipal Government
There are many areas of government where desktop mapping can be extremely helpful in solving problems that are spatial in nature. This course will explore the many types of data collected by city and county government agencies from crime and election data to building, assessment, and zoning data and how it can be displayed in map form. (Prerequisites: GIS 3100, Introduction to GIS)
