ORL 4190 - Values Driven Decision Making

This course explores both objective and subjective decision making models. Emphasis is placed on decision making and risk assessment for organizational effectiveness in public, private and nonprofit organizations. The rational approach will be taught via maximization of expected outcomes and decision tree analysis. The irrational side of decision-making will be covered through demonstrations and discussion of decision bias and judgment heuristics. The role of the leader will be discussed.
