Yes, all students (with the exception of those graduating Spring 2024) will choose whether to update their master’s degree name to IT or retain the Information and Communications Technology name. University College requires that every active ICT student confirm which name they prefer no later than April 29, 2024.
I'm earning a certificate in the ICT program. What does this change mean for certificate students?
Although certificate names do not change, the name of the program under which you complete your certificate is changing. As such, certificate-seeking students have the option to continue with the current program name – Information and Communications Technology – or switch to the new name, Information Technology. Regardless of which name you choose, please indicate your preference by completing the Program Name Confirmation form by Monday, April 29.
How do I update to the new name?
