Military/Veteran Services

The University of Denver's degree programs are approved by the Colorado State Approving Agency. A veteran planning to enroll in University College should first determine benefit entitlement and eligibility by calling 1-888-GIBILL1. Students who are entitled to VA benefits can call the Veteran Services Coordinator at 303-871-2074 or visit The DU Veteran's Services for more information.

At University College, we truly appreciate the sacrifices made by those who are currently serving, have served, and their families. On this page, we have gathered the resources that will be helpful to you in applying your military and veteran benefits to achieving your academic and professional goals. Military/Veteran Information

GI Bill

The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after September 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill pays tuition based upon the highest in-state tuition charged by an educational institution in the state. The tuition rates for University College are less than the highest public in-state rate which means ALL your tuition may be paid for based on the amount of service completed after September 11, 2001.
