Management Principles in Healthcare Systems

Healthcare systems are dynamic and require constant attention to maintain relevance and competency. In this course, students encounter and explore the strategic management functions required to lead and administer various types of healthcare systems and health-related organizations. This course explores techniques for analyzing the present state of a system and walking through the change process to achieve improvement. The course wraps up by exploring the similarities and differences related to management and leadership in the context of the health industry.
