Ashley Walicki

Bio

Ashley Walicki brings her nearly 20 years of professional human resources experience (public and private sector) to bear in her instruction, providing real-life application of HR practices, policies and theories. She has deep experience in compensation, HRIS, recruiting, employee relations, training and development, payroll, and benefits administration. She enjoys working on creative solutions to attract and retain talent.

Her teaching philosophy includes fostering a learning environment that is conducive to open communication and collaboration among students in the classroom. Her goal as an instructor and HR professional is not only to teach the curriculum and provide examples from her HR professional roles, but to also ensure that her students successfully complete the course by keeping a pulse on their progress and assisting where applicable.

Education

Ashley holds an M.S. in Human Resource Management from Eastern Michigan University and a BBA from Walsh College.
