Bio

Jennifer Golightly (Ph.D., University of Denver) has taught writing and research at University College since 2007. Her research is focused on late eighteenth-century novels and centers around women's radical novels of the 1790s. Her book, The Family, Marriage, and Radicalism in British Women's Novels of the 1790s: Public Affection and Private Affliction, was published with Bucknell UP in 2011; more recently, Jennifer has published an essay, "Reproduction in the Novels of the 1790s," in Secrets of Generation: Reproduction in the Long Eighteenth Century.
