Rossana Grzinic received her MS in Information Technology from University of Denver in 2002, and a Masters in Geographic Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University in 2007. She has been working for an oil and gas company the last 10 years, and has been in the IT field over thirteen in a variety of functions. Her focus lately has been on databases and geographic information systems (GIS). She works on designing, building and maintaining databases and has used a variety of DBMS systems (MS Access, MS SQL, Sybase, and Oracle). Most of the databases the work she does is with are relational databases, but she also deals with object-relational systems as well.
She has taught programming at University of Kentucky, and is currently a part of a teaching team for a GIS programming class at the Pennsylvania State University, along with being a member of the University College adjunct faculty.
