Carla Elam-Floyd


Carla Elam-Floyd (MBA, University of Phoenix) has more than 30 years of experience in human resources management and organization analysis in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She is the founder of Elam Floyd & Associates, a consulting firm that focuses on helping organizations to align their people management practices, systems, and policies with their strategic business objectives. Prior to her current role of human resources consultant for Kaiser Permanente, Carla worked across different industries serving as the Manager of Human Resources and Senior HR Business Partner for Youth For Christ, USA, Director of Human Resources for Denver Water, and Director of Human Resources and Administration for the Colorado Department of Transportation, to name a few. She also serves in several volunteer roles and is a founding member of Denver's Opening Act, a non-profit organization formed to help instill leadership skills in young African American girls through the performing arts.
