David Buyze

David M. Buyze (Ph.D. in Religion, University of Toronto) is an online instructor at University College. His interdisciplinary teaching and research interests extend through the Americas to Europe, South Asia, Africa and the Middle East in focusing on issues of conflict, identity, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, globalization, nationalism and continued colonial/postcolonial repercussions. Students appreciate Dr. Buyze’s commitment to academic and intellectual rigor, exploration of ideas and thinking and professional engagement in the online classroom.
