Jeremy Miller (MS in Science and Medical Journalism, Boston University; BA in English and EPO Biology) is a writer and instructor. Jeremy brings unique knowledge in journalism to the classroom, as he has written stories on education, politics, science and the environment. His stories have appeared in various publications including Harper's, Orion, Men's Journal, The Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, the New York Times' Green Inc. blog, The San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Magazine, High Country News and 5280. In 2011, he received a media fellowship at the Bill Lane Center for the American West at Stanford University. For many years, he worked as a high school biology teacher and test prep tutor in New York City. Students appreciate Jeremy’s ability to relate his work in the field to the classroom, knowledge and compassion.
