Charles Swanson

Mr. Swanson was born in Palo Alto, California. At the age of 6 his father was transferred to Cleveland, Ohio, where Charles attended University School, a college preparatory school for boys. Charles attended the University of Vermont, in Burlington and majored Architecture and Design with a minor in Philosophy. Charles returned to Cleveland and worked with architectural firms in the metropolitan area. After 2 years of architectural service work, Charles attended Case Western Reserve Universities’ Weatherhead School of Management and received a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management. Subsequently, he moved to Chicago to work for The Austin Company, an international design-build organization.

Mr. Swanson has worked in the design and construction field for over 25 years and has resided in the Colorado area for the past 10. Primary function has been as a Manager of Business Development for local and national design-build firms. International travels and sales have included companies headquarter in Germany and Italy. Mr. Swanson is a member of the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) and has received his National Standard General Building Certificate A from the International Code Council (ICC).
