Paul Nuzum is President of Supply Chain Insights (a network of independent supply chain consultants) as well as an Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain at the University of Denver and Wright State University as well as India’s S.P. Jain University.

As a practitioner and consultant for over 30 years, Paul has been assisting leading organizations achieve strategic supply chain advantage. This leadership spans: supply chain systems, supply chain technology, Process development, and supply chain transformation. Industries served include: automotive OEM, automotive aftermarket distribution, electrical component distribution, computer distribution, office supply distribution, home building supply, transportation, 3PL, food distribution, international paper trading, and software development.

Working with the University of Denver, Paul has established The University of Denver Supply Chain Roundtable; an executive forum featuring thought leaders in supply chain while funding scholarships and supply chain research. Paul has also spoken widely on supply chain strategies and technology for professional organizations and universities.

Paul recently completed ground breaking research into the challenges companies face today in building global supply chains, and how they are responding to these challenges. This was based upon interviewing top supply chain executives at over 50 Global 1000 companies identified as supply chain innovators. From these interviews, a picture emerges of the trends affecting supply chains as well as regional and global trade. A series of articles from this research have been published in the ProLogis Global Supply Chain Review, Inbound Logistics, The Journal of Transportation, and by The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties.
