Karen Kellen
Bio
Karen Kellen (J.D., Washington University in St. Louis) was an attorney with the Environmental Protection Agency from 1987 to 2016. She was elected to the Lakewood City Council and served from 2009 to 2017. While at the EPA, she was active with the American Federation of Government Employees and served in various roles including as the President of AFGE Council 238. Karen retired in 2016 and is now a member of the Rocky Mountain Ukulele Orchestra and the Colorado Peaches senior women's softball team. She chairs the Board for Metro West Housing Solutions, Lakewood's affordable housing authority.
