Ginlin Woo (M.S. in Educational Administration, Bank Street College of Education) has directed two national Diversity, Equity and Inclusion centers, a youth center and a bilingual early learning center throughout her 50-year career. Issues of social justice and volunteer service have been the focus of Gin’s personal and professional life and she prioritizes advocating for culturally diverse communities, coaching on organizational and community development, designing volunteer programs and developing educational curriculum. Gin has been preparing National Service volunteers since 1968, when she completed her own 3.5 terms of VISTA service in Brooklyn, NY as a community organizer working on youth development, fair housing and education. Gin’s passions and experience make her a powerful contributor in the classroom as an instructor in the Nonprofit Leadership program.
