Dino Piacentini


Dino Enrique Piacentini (MFA, University of Houston) has had work published in The Massachusetts Review, Gulf Coast, Atticus Review, and Confrontation, among other places. He has taught at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; University of Houston; and Lighthouse Writers’ Workshops; and has served as Fiction Editor at Gulf Coast. He earned his BA in Visual Art from Occidental College and his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston. Before becoming a writer, Dino worked for 20 years as an arts professional at The Mexican Museum, The Asian Art Museum, and Galería de la Raza, as well as an independent consultant to a wide range of nonprofits.
