Jayne Butler

Bio

Jayne Butler (jay-knee) (MFA in Emergent Digital Practices, University of Denver) is a formally trained new media artist and creative non-profit administrator. Jayne’s academic and professional background is heavily steeped in arts and culture, social impact, and technology. She most recently worked as an arts program officer with the Knight Foundation where she cultivated local and national grant investments in support of artists, arts organizations, and arts and culture projects with a focus in eight U.S. cities. In this role, Jayne managed a grant portfolio of roughly $8M and co-led the evolution of Knight’s arts strategy to focus on technology innovation in the arts.
