Bio
Ryan Monahan is a go-to market, business development, strategic partnerships, and growth strategist who works with Fortune 100 executives and early-stage founders alike to design, execute, and manage revenue-generating programs that scale businesses across North America, Europe, and Latin America.
Education
Ryan earned dual B.A.s in Spanish Literature & Language and Journalism & Public Relations from the University of Georgia and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. He is also a climate solutions fellow at Terra.do.
Professional Background
Ryan spent several years leading corporate and commercial strategy consulting projects at Deloitte Consulting, where he helped clients break into new markets, improve profitability, and scale operations globally. He has also worked in late-stage, high-growth startups to lead expansion efforts, ink strategic partnerships, and revamp commercial strategies. He advises startup founders and innovators as an independent consultant as well as a mentor within startup accelerators including Rockies Venture Club, CrowdSolve, Endeavor, and the University of Colorado’s New Venture Challenge. Currently, he is the Director of Business Development at Electrada, the premier provider of clean electric fuel to fleets across North America.
Motivation for Teaching
Ryan loves organizing cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and scale businesses and has spent many years working with professionals of all backgrounds in different countries to tackle these kinds of challenges. Ryan hopes to pass on these learnings and experiences to the next generation of business leaders. He’s also a lifelong lover of learning and expects to absorb a great deal of new insights from his students.
