Fresh start

At University College, you'll have a fresh academic start as we treat your first 96 transferable quarter credits (64 semester hour credits) as electives...no hassles. Unlike other bachelor completion programs that arbitrarily limit the number of credits and try to match your courses to a set of requirements, University College welcomes your past credits to be put toward completing your bachelor's degree.

Skills you can use now

Our program outcomes were designed with the input of the business, nonprofit, and public sector communities. In addition to these overarching bachelor program outcomes−creativity, critical thinking, knowledge utilization, decision making, empowerment, and effective communication−students will gain practical, real−world, major−specific skills that they can begin using right away. Degree completion, online or on campus, will provide students with leadership skills, budgeting techniques, and financial forecasting methods, persuasive writing and speaking techniques, and project management know−how. These interdisciplinary skills will greatly benefit your personal and professional life, whether you seek a new career opportunity or want to move ahead in your current position. The curriculum has been thoughtfully designed with you in mind, as it takes into consideration your current experience and builds a skill set necessary to thrive.

Flexible schedules made for you

Commit to your degree completion online or on campus and enjoy flexible scheduling that is designed for the working adult. Classes are held on campus at the University of Denver in the evening or online, or in a combination of both for your convenience.

Combine your bachelor's degree and master's degree

Accelerate your education by combining bachelor's completion with earning a master's degree at University College, where we've developed a streamlined combined degree for students who wish to reduce the time of earning both degrees by eight credit hours. The combined degree also has an approximate cost reduction of $3,700. You can expect a challenging, applied undergraduate and graduate education that will help you excel in a variety of fields, as well as enhance your professional, personal, and civic life.

Civic engagement opportunities

The Bachelor of Arts Completion Program includes a civic engagement project that provides bachelor completion students the opportunity to identify a community need, learn how that need is not being addressed, and become engaged in a particular set of service activities to help rectify that situation. Bachelor of Arts Completion Program students will work on the project for an agreed upon duration of time, allowing them to get involved with the community around them while providing real solutions to real issues.

Study abroad and beyond

The International Experience is University College's take on study abroad for adults. Bachelor completion students participate in an intensive seven−day experience outside of the United States designed for you and your classmates to be immersed in another culture while evaluating that culture and yours. The diverse topics you study will come alive in this invigorating and engaging experience that helps you to develop a global perspective. Students love this aspect of the Bachelor of Arts Completion Program and consider it a valuable part of their undergraduate experience.
