Steve Bahnemann

Bio

Steve Bahnemann is an experienced healthcare executive having worked at Mayo Clinic for 27 years in a variety of disciplines including as a leader in its internal consulting and management engineering area, as a marketing executive for one of its regional healthcare systems as well as an operating executive in a service line dedicated for businesses. He has served as a Vice President of Human Resources for two health systems, one in the Midwest and one on the West Coast. He started his career at two large tertiary care hospitals affiliated with Mayo Clinic and was Director of HR in one of the world’s largest hospitals.

He is an Assistant Professor of Health Care Systems Engineering at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He has been an Adjunct Instructor for a private college in Wisconsin and an evening M.B.A program in Minnesota for over fifteen years before teaching at Denver University. He brings healthcare management and leadership experience in several disciplines including strategic planning, leadership, marketing and business development and human resources. He enjoys working with students to ensure their success in their educational aspirations as well as their professional endeavors.
