Bio

Kerry Mitchell has spent more than 20 years making organizations happier places to work. She uses her knowledge and experience to help leaders and employees at Fortune 500, nonprofits and government agencies increase employee engagement.

Kerry works with organizations to help employees and organizations thrive. She helps organizations understand issues with employee engagement and provides customized solutions for improving team and organization performance. As a consultant, Kerry observes organizations in all sectors and uses that knowledge to equip students with the latest workplace trends and concerns. She has a vast array of real-life examples that demonstrate concepts learned in the courses she teaches.

Additionally, Kerry is SHRM-SCP certified and is a member of SHRM. She engages in events and conferences and brings connections to students. She also volunteers her time as a facilitator to Mavericks of Senior Living.

Education

Kerry earned a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, an M.A. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, an MSS in Training and Consulting from University of Denver and a B.A. in Speech Communication from Metropolitan State College.
