Alice Ferris

Bio

Alice L. Ferris is a Partner and Founder of GoalBusters Consulting and has more than 30 years of hands-on fundraising experience. Alice excels at finding creative solutions for small fundraising teams and merging fundamental fundraising theory with practical tactics. As a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) and an Associate Member of Rogare, the Fundraising Think Tank, Alice is well-versed in fundraising’s core body of knowledge and works to promote thought leadership in the sector. She designed the curriculum for NFP 4120: Technology Strategy for Fundraising using her expertise in helping organizations with needs assessments and software migrations since 1994. She has taught at the graduate level since 2018 and at DU since 2020.

Education

Alice earned a B.A. in Communication Arts and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Accounting and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
