Allison Forrest

Bio

Allison Forrest is an ESG (environmental, social, and corporate governance) executive and board director focused on leading global organizations to successfully implement ESG, sustainability and responsible investment. She directs stakeholder engagement initiatives with mining companies and institutional investors and also conducts robust ESG due diligence.

Education

Allison earned her M.S. in Environmental Policy from the University of Denver and her B.A. in Environmental Policy from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

Professional Background

Allison currently serves as VP of Investment Stewardship at Royal Gold, a leading precious metals streaming and royalty company based in Denver, Colorado. Her previous positions were Responsible Investment Officer at Resource Capital Funds and Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Analyst at Nutrien Ltd. (formerly Agrium, Inc.).

Teaching Philosophy

As an instructor for the Environmental Policy and Management program, Allison enjoys working with students seeking professional development in areas of environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters. She is eager to “pay it forward” to the next generation of ESG leaders, and loves learning from and with students by actively participating in thoughtful and meaningful engagement.

Allison understands how difficult it can be as a working student with various commitments. Her patience, flexibility and empathetic approach helps students to learn more deeply, have fun and be themselves.
