Amy Bonomi
Bio
Amy currently serves as founder of Social Justice Associates and Professor and Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives at Northern Arizona University. Amy founded Social Justice Associates following her tenure as an award-winning professor and university leader at The Ohio State University and Michigan State University. In her work with Social Justice Associates, Amy has guided thousands of individuals in strategy and culture building through the lens of inclusion. Her work with Social Justice Associates spans organizations throughout the United States, Canada, and Western Europe.
Education
Amy earned her Doctorate in Health Services and Masters in Public Health from the University of Washington (Seattle) and her Baccalaureate in Psychology from Loyola University (Chicago). Amy has continued her lifelong learning through enrolling in Northern Arizona University’s Indigenous Peoples Seminar and Navajo (Dine) language courses.
Motivation for Teaching
Amy is an award-winning professor and highly experienced facilitator who values and encourages curiosity, openness, risk-taking and innovative design and problem-solving in her students. Amy brings a fresh, humble perspective to the classroom and to online teaching settings where it is safe to share ideas, take risks and be as creative as possible when confronting organizational design and strategy.
