Jennifer Ford
Bio
Jennifer Ford is a Humanities and Art History instructor and believes in the full integration of history and the arts. As an owner of an art gallery and art consulting firm, she look for ways to interest the public in the arts through interdisciplinary thought and cross-marketing. Jennifer works across various subject matter to make education relevant to real-world experiences.
Jennifer received her M.A. from NYU in the Humanities, and since that time she has lived and worked in different areas of the art business all over the world. She began working at the MFA in Boston in the education department and soon after transferred to a corporate art consulting firm, Boston Art, where she worked with the corporate art programs. In NYC, Jennifer was a sales manager for an internet-based art firm called Eyestorm and a gallery assistant at the Stefan Stux Gallery. Most recently, she worked for the Miami-based artist Romero Britto in his wholesale division focusing on European Gallery Events which led me to a position as Gallery Director for Hartinger Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. She is currently a private art advisor for art collections at the Interior Design firm Choice Designs and has a Doctoral Studies Degree with IDSVA concentrating on a blend of art and business. Last year, she opened an art gallery concentrating on Midwestern Art. Her work with several local and national philanthropic associations focuses on empowering women through the arts.
