Robyn Tighe is an experienced intercultural communication strategist specializing in sustainable business growth, UX design, and effective teams. She has served in communication leadership roles at leading organizations in the wellness, public health, public media, and social science research industries.
Education
Robyn earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont and her M.A. in Information and Learning Technologies from the University of Colorado.

Robyn consults with businesses and nonprofit organizations to generate sustainable growth through meaningful communications and partnerships. As a certified Agile professional, she facilitates teams in solving complex problems that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. Previously, Robyn served as the strategic growth manager at The 3 Doors, content manager for Public Media Company, and founder of Freshwater Communications.

She is committed to exceeding student expectations in ways that bring awe, wonder, and delight into the learning environment because when learning is meaningful, it’s naturally motivating.
Helping Students Be Successful
Robyn thoughtfully facilitates a vibrant community of students in her classes. She tailors the course materials to students’ needs, interests, and goals by providing real-world examples and practical opportunities for students to learn from each other. By using best practices in user-centric design thinking, evidence-based decision-making, and generative AI, Robyn prepares students to apply new skills and knowledge in their work environments. In addition to being available for office hours and responding to emails within 24 hours, Robyn offers one-on-one conferences, expert guest speakers, live Zoom sessions, and individualized feedback to support each student’s progress.
