Victoria O’Malley


Dr. Victoria O’Malley is a higher education marketing leader working to ensure brand promises align with student experiences. She has marketing experience in non-profit, B2B, and B2C environments, with a particular focus on bringing brands to life through compelling storytelling, innovative marketing and creative initiatives.

Victoria serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at the Colorado School of Mines and previously led marketing and branding efforts at the University of Colorado Denver as the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Marketing and Brand Strategy and prior to that, as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Denver’s University College. She is a freelance marketing consultant and offers strategic insights, creative tactics and analytics knowledge to students, stakeholders and clients.


Victoria earned an EdD in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, an M.A. in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Arizona.
