David Barton

Bio

Dave Barton is an experienced executive, teacher and consultant with a breadth of international experience in marketing and sales, channel management, proposals and contracts management and strategic alliance management. He is recognized for his leadership experience and as an expert in influencing and critical thinking.

Education

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Operations Management from the University at Albany, NY, and his Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Professional Background

Most recently, Dave served as Vice President for Contract Manufacturing at Danone North America, where he oversaw third party manufacturing innovation and scale-up for the US and Canada. He also served as Vice President of Customer Contracts for Agilent Technologies, where he led client and customer negotiations and developed high-performing teams worldwide. In addition, Dave has led brand identity, information distribution and media and marketing agency supplier development.

Motivation for Teaching

Dave’s passion for teaching originates from his experience developing leaders across cultures. His collaborative style is a model for approaching challenges as opportunities for positive change.
