Donald Halloran
Bio
Donald Halloran is a career technology professional with thirty years of professional experience in a variety of industries. During his career, his role has evolved from solution development to IT project management and into leadership roles such as Chief Technology Officer. Currently, Donald is the founder and CEO of a small technology consulting firm in the Denver area that helps organizations develop technology strategies and build custom solutions to support business objectives.
Donald has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver since 2003. During this time, he has taught a variety of technology and leadership classes. He is passionate about helping students and working professionals advance their careers and skill sets. He hopes to one day teach full-time when he leaves the corporate environment.
Donald is currently working on his dissertation for his Ph.D. at the Daniels College of Business where he researches firm technology decision-making. He likes the idea of using his personal experience to identify research questions that can be explored through both qualitative and quantitative methods. His ultimate goal is to develop a model to help people better understand what positive and negative factors influence technology decision-makers.
Education
Donald earned an M.S. in Information Technology from Syracuse University, an MBA from the University of Denver and is a Ph.D Candidate at the Daniels College of Business.
