James Henderson
Bio
Over the course of his 45+ year career, Henderson has served to protect people, places and things in law enforcement, counterintelligence and security; as a leader protecting classified security operations both in the United States and abroad, and as director of Ethics and Compliance for the world’s largest missile company.
Education
James earned an AA in Police Science from Palomar College; a BPA in Public Administration and Criminal Justice from National University; an MSS in Applied Communication from the University of Denver and a DSL from Regent University.
Professional Background
James is a former board member of the Industrial Security Working Group (ISWG), FBI Rocky Mountain InfraGard Chapter and the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Association (MELA). Henderson has been honored with the FBI’s highest civilian award for “Exceptional Service in the Public Interest” and is a three-time recipient of the distinguished Department of Defense, Defense Security Service, James S. Cogswell Award for Security Excellence. Dr. He is an alumnus of the Executive Education Program for High Potential Leaders at the Harvard Business School.
james became a member of the adjunct faculty at University College in 2006 teaching security operations and management. His love of teaching as well as a diverse background in law enforcement, counterintelligence, defense contractor security and corporate ethics have provided a host of career experiences that enrich the learning experience for his students.
