Larry Mugler

Bio

Larry Mugler is currently working for the Arapahoe County planning office. He has worked for the U.S. Census Bureau as a Partnership Specialist for the 2010 Census and for the Denver Regional Council of Governments in various positions. He was responsible for programs dealing with regional development planning and general environmental studies, including air and water quality management.

Before joining DRCOG, he was director of community development for a multi-county planning organization in Oklahoma. Larry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, as well as the APA and ASCE. He is past president of the Leawood Metropolitan Park and Recreation District. He currently serves as the chair of the Long Range Planning Committee for the Douglas County School District.

Education

Larned earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University and an MS from Urban and Regional Planning University of Wisconsin-Madison.
