Leslie Devera-Duncan


Leslie DeVera-Duncan has been leading managers and teams for over 25 years. She has a deep understanding of developing leaders to manage teams to successfully achieve results. Building engaged teams is a passion for Leslie as she leads her department through change management and continuous improvement.

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Michigan State University and her Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources and Management from the University of Denver.

Leslie currently sits on the Executive team for a Fortune 500 company, Pulte Group. She is the Senior Vice President of Operations and leads a department of over 500 employees, line managers, and senior-level managers. She drives exceptional results through team building, and developing managers to lead with a strategic mindset. Leslie spearheaded a leadership development program at her company to develop exceptional leadership capabilities including communication, presentation, change management, decision-making, team building and performance management skills.

Leslie has a strong passion for helping employees improve their communication skills. Because strong communication skills are critical for building successful teams, she mentors and coaches others to have effective and timely crucial conversations. Leslie leads top-performing teams that are highly effective due to their communication and leadership capabilities.

Leslie receives positive feedback from her students on her timely and proactive interactions. She is dedicated to making herself available to educate, mentor and coach all students. Her passion for developing others comes out in her responses to discussion posts and all assignments.
