Mark Merkow

Bio

Mark S. Merkow, CISSP, CISM, CSSLP, works at Freeport-McMoRan mining company leading application security architecture and engineering efforts in the office of the CISO. At the University of Denver Mark teaches online courses in topics across the Information Security spectrum, with a focus on secure software development. He also works as an advisor to DU’s Information and Computing Technology Curriculum Team for new course development and changes to the curriculum.

Education

Mark earned his MS-MIS and his M.Ed in Distance Education from Arizona State University.
