Shawn Turk

Bio

Shawn Turk is a Project Manager for an international engineering firm, with over 20 years of experience in land use, environmental policy, permitting, regulatory compliance and EHS. In his current role, Shawn manages the siting, permitting, and environmental clearance of large-scale utility projects. His prior experience includes land and regulatory compliance for the oil and gas industry, managing EHS and environmental permitting for a nationwide ecological research project through the National Science Foundation, and municipal urban planning. Shawn is a former Governor Hickenlooper and Governor Polis Appointee for the Colorado State Board of Health and Colorado Health Equity Commission, serving as an environmental policy subject matter expert.
