William R. Roy
Bio
Willaim Roy was a Geochemist at the Illinois State Geological Survey for 33 years. He conducted research both in the laboratory and in the field. Waste management was a common theme in many of the research projects and included radioactive wastes, municipal solid wastes, coal-related wastes, deep-well injection of liquid hazardous wastes, municipal incinerator wastes, agricultural and urban wastes and geological sequestration of waste gases.
Education
William earned a Ph.D in Soil Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois, and an MA and a BS in Geology from Indiana University.
