We asked graduates to share their journey to graduation. Here is what Danielle Doucet (Arts and Culture) had to say in her own words…
I had been working full time in Arts Administration for six months when I started my master’s program. I worked on my degree nonstop while working full time and living on my own. It was often a struggle but nothing was a bigger struggle than moving cross country for work during the second the last quarter before my capstone. Amid medical issues and learning a new job and new city, I continued and was able to successfully complete my capstone. I’m thrilled to be the first person in my family to earn my masters and to be able to travel to DU for the commencement from North Carolina.
Congratulations, Danielle!
