Courses & Schedule

On-campus courses are offered in an in-person format, on a regularly scheduled weeknight from 6 - 9 p.m. Mountain Time. If there is a chance you will miss more than one class during the term, please contact your academic advisor and review the syllabus for attendance policy.

Online asynchronous courses do not require you to participate in the course on any specific day or time. Your instructor will employ a variety of different asynchronous engagement opportunities such as discussion boards, presentations, or group work. At their discretion, instructors may schedule synchronous and ungraded Zoom sessions. Attendance at these sessions is completely optional for students. Recordings of the synchronous sessions will be made available for all students.

Online synchronous courses require you to attend a synchronous Zoom session on a regularly scheduled weeknight from 6 - 8 p.m. Mountain Time with additional asynchronous engagement during the week. Attendance at synchronous sessions is required. If there is a chance you will miss more than one synchronous Zoom session during the term, please contact your academic advisor and review the syllabus for attendance policy.

Hybrid courses meet online and on campus. For weeks 1, 3, 6, 8, and 10, you will meet on campus for an instructor led class from 6 - 9 p.m. Mountain Time on a weeknight. For weeks 2, 4, 5, 7, 9 you will engage in the course asynchronously online through discussion boards, presentations, and/or group work. Attendance is required for on-campus class sessions. If there is a chance you will miss more than one on-campus session during the term, please contact your academic advisor and review the syllabus for attendance policy.

Hybrid online courses meeting synchronously and asynchronously. For weeks 1, 3, 6, 8, and 10, your instructor will host synchronous Zoom sessions from 6 - 8 p.m. Mountain Time on a weeknight with additional asynchronous engagement during with week. For weeks 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9, you will engage in the course asynchronously online via discussion boards, presentations, and/or group work. Attendance at synchronous Zoom sessions is required. If there is a chance you will miss more than one synchronous session during the term, please contact your academic advisor and review the syllabus for attendance policy.

Hyflex courses meet on-campus each week for an in-person, instructor-led class from 6 - 9 p.m. Mountain Time on a weeknight. You may attend classes in-person on-campus or access the class remotely via live stream video. Attendance is required regardless if you attend classes in-person or through live-stream. When you register, you must choose either the on-campus or synchronous online section. You may not switch back and forth between on-campus and online synchronous sections. If there is a chance you will miss more than one class session during the term (whether in-person or live-stream), please contact your academic advisor and review the syllabus for attendance policy.

These courses are in the hybrid-hyflex format, which means you will engage in synchronous class sessions either remotely through Zoom or in person/on campus in weeks 1, 3, 6, 8, 10; weeks 2, 4, 5, 7 and 9 are taught asynchronously online through discussion boards, presentations, and/or group work. Attendance for synchronous classes is required regardless if you attend classes in-person or through livestream. When you register, choose either the on campus or synchronous online section. You may not switch back-and-forth between on campus and online synchronous sections.
